Grounding
One of the most important and often underestimated elements of electrical systems is grounding. Whether it's a residential building or an industrial facility, proper grounding is essential for life and property protection.
What is the role of grounding?
The purpose of grounding is to safely conduct fault voltage, short circuits, or leakage current in the electrical network into the ground, thereby preventing electric shock and fire.
When and why is it necessary?
✅ When establishing the electrical network of new properties and buildings
✅ In case of renovations and extensions
✅ For the installation of electric car chargers
✅ When installing RCDs and residual current circuit breakers
✅ For the protection of garden electrical equipment, swimming pools, and metal structures
What can happen without grounding or with faulty grounding?
❌ Risk of electric shock, appearance of life-threatening voltages on metal enclosures
❌ Fire hazard in case of short circuit
❌ Malfunction of electronic equipment
❌ Faulty operation of RCDs and residual current circuit breakers
❌ Lack of lightning protection
How do we work?
For every new electrical system, electric car charger, and RCD installation, we establish a tested and measured grounding system according to the touch protection requirements specified in the standard.
The grounding values are measured with certified equipment.
